Living in Vietnam the artist discovered a special medium called « Dó paper ». It’s a traditional technique to make sheet of paper only handcraft now in a few villages in Vietnam. Its smooth yet resilient texture inspired the artist to create a serie of fluid shapes, resulting in a collection of ink drawings titled « Histoires d’amour ». 

 

Each of the 63 drawings can form a composition of 9 pages to tell metaphorical love stories, giving free rein to the spectators' imagination to tell their own love stories with this new vocabulary that can be interpreted in a myriad of ways.
