"Interwoven Realities" ("Realitats Entrellaçades")

Place : FUNDACIÓ ÚNIQUES
City : Barcelona
Date : 27/02/2025 - 25/05/2025

A collective exhibition curated by Paula Carrera at Fundació Úniques, bringing together Núria Farré, Elena Montesinos and IAMPIÔ around the shared conviction that cultural diversity is a wealth, and that art is one of the most direct ways to make that visible.

IAMPIÔ presented works from her series It's the Story of a Pink Bubble Gum, a practice born in Barcelona that captures fragments of conversations, urban symbols and ephemeral encounters.

Like a pink bubble gum wandering through the city, the series transforms the everyday into a joyful and noisy visual poetry, where multiculturalism is not a backdrop but the subject itself: a gathering place, a reason to celebrate.

The visitor was never a spectator. Through the interactive ceramic sculpture Should We Trade Some Secrets, a solo urban banner performance activating the public space of Barcelona, and the collective performance We Are Shining Bubble Gums, IAMPIÔ turned each encounter into a shared act.

The launch of We Are Shining Bubble Gums opened with the front pages of the day's newspapers, grounding the work in the present moment and the world outside the gallery walls.

The exhibition was punctuated by several key moments: a guided visit organised by the Institut Français de Barcelone, and the Brick Party, the Ninja Party a closing celebration that brought together the restitution of artworks built from all the data and contributions collected throughout the run of the collective performance.
