Forest Nest - 4 Reasons Of Hope
Ceramic Tribute to Dr.Jane Goodall

Technique : Glazed Ceramic
Year : 2025 - 2026
Dimensions : 27cm x 27cm x 35cm

4 Reasons of Hope is a ceramic sculpture created as part of the Forest Nest collection, developed in collaboration with They Host Us and the Jane Goodall Institute France. Conceived as both a memorial and a call to action following the passing of Dr. Jane Goodall in October 2025, the work gives material form to the four reasons for hope that she devoted her life to transmitting: the resilience of nature, the power of the human intellect, the energy of young people, and the indomitable human spirit.

The sculpture operates as a participative nest. After encountering the work, visitors are invited to fold a piece of paper and place it inside the ceramic in response to the question: "What is the forest poetry for you?" The piece collects these offerings as a living archive of collective imagination and ecological commitment.

4 Reasons of Hope complements the Forest Nest triptych of three monumental paintings. Together, the full collection was presented in world premiere at ChangeNOW 2026, Grand Palais, Paris, before an audience of 40,000 visitors.

They Host Us is a creative platform that believes art is a powerful way to generate emotion in service of protecting the living world. By transforming words, voices and encounters into monumental paintings, They Host Us uses colour, pigment and collective narrative to make ecological engagement joyful, sensory and desirable.
