For IAMPIÔ, ceramics has always been a way to put her drawings into three dimensions: to give volume, weight and presence to what begins as a line on paper.
Le Baiser was born from a drawing made in Vietnam, deeply personal, carried across years before finding its final form in clay.
Le Baiser is a ritual object conceived to celebrate love and the moments that mark a relationship forever. A wedding, an anniversary, a declaration, a reunion: any moment when two people choose to commit to what they share deserves an object that can hold that commitment.
On the chosen day, the words are slipped inside the ceramic. Not to be read again, but to be kept. The piece holds them the way a vault holds something precious: sealed, safe, alive. After the celebration, it finds its place on a shelf, a mantle, a windowsill. It stands still. It holds everything.
Each Kiss begins with a conversation: a call in which IAMPIÔ explores the couple's memories, symbols and shared story. From this emerges a "Love Mantra", a short and powerful phrase that becomes the blueprint for the hand-painted surface. No two pieces are alike. That is the point.
Le Baiser belongs to IAMPIÔ's series of ritual and energetic ceramic objects: pieces conceived not only to be looked at, but to activate presence, generate shared energy, and hold the immaterial inside the material.
Glazed ceramic, hand-built, fired for permanence. Made to last generations.
